Team CSR Ghana’s poultry farming project in the Eastern Region is a youth-led initiative aimed at job
creation and agricultural skills development. Established with support from diaspora partners,
the farm spans two acres and houses 5,000 chickens, with the capacity to produce over 150
crates of eggs daily. Currently distributing around 100 crates per day, the project serves
as both a sustainable agribusiness and a hands-on training ground where young people gain
practical experience in poultry production and distribution. Aligned with national goals like
‘Feed Ghana’ and ‘Feed the Future,’ the initiative empowers youth to drive food security
and economic growth in their communities. As the project grows, we aim to replicate this
model across different regions in Ghana,
expanding opportunities for youth employment and empowerment in the agricultural sector.
